Shown on the top of San Francisco’s highest skyscraper, Wavelengths explores the abstract patterns and rhythms of California's moving water through light, color, and motion. Drawing on my original footage of waves, wetlands, and watersheds — layered with abstract geometric wave forms — the work traces California's complex relationship with water, from coastal waves to vulnerable wetlands to vital watersheds. Wavelengths highlights the beauty of these habitats and the environmental threats facing them.
